Greetings,

As we approach the holidays, I often think about those people who are overseas in the military. Many of these soldiers receive letters and packages from home. Some soldiers do not receive much if anything. I thought it would be nice to have our students write a letter to the troops. These letters will be sent to Afghanistan at the direction of my cousin Corporal Thomas Duffany who is in the Marines. They should receive them just in time for the holiday season. All students will write a letter, but you may request that it not be sent if you so choose. Simply send in a note to me at the school. The students will not provide their full name on the letter, just their first name.
